Walking and Cycling

     Arbutus Cove Guesthouse borders the Galloping Goose Trail which is restricted to foot and cycle travelers. The trail is meticulously maintained from Sooke to Victoria, winding it's way along the ocean and through the magnificient forests of East Sooke.

Marine Activities

     The Sooke area offers a multitude of marine activities. World class salmon and halibut fishing, Orca Whale Watching, and kayaking are provided by local guides and businesses 10 minutes from Arbutus Cove.

Nature Tours

     The Pacific Marine Circle Route is appropriately named "A Journey on Mother Nature's Wilderness Highway". The one day driving adventure will take you to the beautiful west coast beaches, the tidal pools of Botanical Beach, the Giant Tree Tour of Avatar Grove and the world famous Harrison Creek Spruce Tree.
     Minutes from our backdoor is East Sooke Park, Galloping Goose Trail and Sooke Pot Holes

Golfing

     World Class courses including Olympic View and Bear Mountain are a 30 minute drive from Arbutus Cove. Sooke's own par 3 course is a 5 minute drive.

Sightseeing

     Victoria's Inner Harbour with it's quaint shops, restaurants and historic buildings are a 35 minute drive from Arbutus Cove.
     World famous Buchart Gardens, a must see for garden enthusiasts is a one hour drive.
